Mr. de Pablo, a Spanish citizen, is the Founder and President of LAIG, a fully dedicated investment and advisory company for the Latin American region, with a primary focus in the energy, real estate and infrastructure sectors. Since its inception, LAIG has led the MBO of Amber Capital’s Private Equity Latin America portfolio, executed nine transactions, acted as leading advisor on a multi-billion dollar transaction in the energy sector in the region, and opened four offices in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Madrid and New York.
Mr. Hood is a Director and senior member of the Consumer, Food and Retail Group at Houlihan Lokey, an international, advisory-focused investment bank with 14 offices throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Born in the United Kingdom and having grown up in the London, Hong Kong and New York, William received a B.Sc. from Georgetown University.Mr. Ijaz is the founder and Chairman of Crescent Investment Management LLC. He is also the Foreign Affairs and Terrorism Analyst for Fox News Network. Mr. Ijaz negotiated Sudan's counterterrorism offer to the Clinton administration in April 1997 and proposed the framework for a ceasefire of hostilities between Indian security forces and Kashmiri separatists in the disputed Kashmir region in August 2000
Ms. Dicker Kadzinski is a senior executive management advisor to the US Department of State. Prior to working with the State Department, she spent 15 years in institutional finance, including 10 years at Morgan Stanley, where she was an Executive Director in the Fixed Income and Prime Brokerage Divisions. Ms. Dicker Kadzinski builds business platforms, both de novo as well as expands and improves existing platforms. She is also an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, currently assigned to the Department of State. She is an Officer Sister and Audit Committee Member of the Order of St John of Jerusalem and is active in other charitable endeavors.
Professor Rubin is the author of several books on Afghanistan, including The Fragmentation of Afghanistan (New Haven: Yale University Press, 1995) and The Search for Peace in Afghanistan (New Haven: Yale University Press, 1995). Professor Rubin was formerly the Director of the Center for Preventive Action at the Council on Foreign Relations and is now Director of Studies at New York University's Center on International Cooperation.
