Why Afghanistan?
It is a time of great hope and potential in Afghanistan. The children of Afghanistan are alive at unique point in their country's history.  After years of war and turbulence, the country, with an unprecedented level of aid from the international community, has the real chance to move towards becoming a self - sufficient and stable nation.   Stability in Afghanistan is not only important for the wellbeing of the Afghan people.  It has far reaching consequences throughout the region and in the Western world, as unstable nations often become havens and incubators for terrorist organizations and their enablers.
